What are areas of research that specified in IRN program?
Fields and Research Topics
Areas of research related to the main theme and focus of the commodities specified in IRN program, include:
- Field AGRO TECHNOLOGY :
- Explore the marine and terrestrial resources to acquire new types of food sources and excel.
- Explore and identify local knowledge in the field of cultivation and utilization of marine and land-based food.
- Develop techniques of cultivation, harvest, post-harvest marine / farm.
- PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY field :
- Explore and identify local knowledge in the field of food processing sea-based and land, including farms, from the aspect of quality, nutrition and food safety.
- Develop technology-based food production processes sea and land (premix, ready-mix, enriched, modified, processed, by-products, waste handling, etc.).
- Field COMMUNITY HEALTH AND NUTRITION :
- Explore and evaluate aspects of nutrition and public health in relation to the diversification of food.
- Developing food products flagship marine and land-based for the purpose of improving nutrition and health.
- Utilizing biotechnology and food chemistry to support the diversification of food.
- Field SOCIO-ECONOMIC-CULTURAL :
- Brought in and diversification of food creations based on local food.
- Analyzing patterns and community food culture, and its impact on social and economic value.
What are the Terms of Participation in Indofood Riset Nugraha?
Terms of Participation
Undergraduate Program (S1) Category:
- Proposals submitted for IRN program MUST BE a part of a final project or thesis. This must be confirmed by attaching a transcript and Kartu Rencana Studi (KRS) for the current semester that has been approved by the lecturer.
- The period of research is for a maximum of 1 year period commencing from when the proposal is approved for research funding (after signing a contract with Indofood.
- Research must be conducted in Indonesia.
- Complete curriculum vitae of the researcher and lectures must be submitted, including: Name, Student ID, gender, complete address, phone number/ mobile phone, facsimile and email address.
Special Research Program :
- This program is specifically intended for Lecturers and Experts and Public and/or Private Research Institutions, which are assigned by the Research and Development (R&D) Division of Indofood together with IRN Team to collaborate on special research programs.
- Participants can join as an institution or an individual, with the research material that has been decided upon and agreed.
- Proposal submission can be done after the participants have completed the administrative terms above.
